Andrew Vincent established his practice on the Queen Street Mall in 1987, and is passionate about Chiropractic and how it can help people of all ages.
Since graduating from RMIT University in Melbourne in 1986, Dr Vincent has served as State President of the Chiropractors’ Association. of Australia, State spokesperson and National representative of this Association in Qld.
This worked includes communications with media (radio, TV and press) on matters of safety, scope of practice and new advances in Chiropractic methods/treatments. Dr Vincent consults to MBF, Government Registration Board, State Branch Qld Peer Review and Ethics Committee, Health Quality & Complaints Commission, and Political and Insurance committees.
Mark Whitfield graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Science degree, before completing his Masters of Chiropractic degree in 1998 at Macquarie University in Sydney.
Mark uses a variety of treatment techniques that range from more passive adjustments using an Activator instrument, to the ‘manual’ style adjustments using both Diversified manual technique and Drop-table adjusting.
Mark also incorporates soft tissue technique in his treatment.
When Mark is not practicing at AV Chiropractic, he is busy in his own clinic - Corrective Chiropractic at Algester.
Aidan graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne in 1997. He has gained a vast experience and knowledge in clinical practice as a locum and associate, both in Australia and overseas.
Aidan adapts his technique to suit his patients’ requirements, for babies and through adulthood. He utilises both the manual techniques of Diversified, Gonstead and the Drop-piece table, and the lower force techniques of Sacro-occipital technique and Activator.
Aidan incorporates muscle therapy and stretch/strengthening rehabilitative exercises as part of his management plan.
Aidan has been an active member of Chiropractors' Association of Australia (QLD) Ltd, having served as spokes person and secretary.
Matthew graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Imaging, before completing his Masters of Chiropractic degree in 2008.
He brought home an array of awards from Sydney in 2008 which include:
- Chiropractic Dux
- Vice Chancellors Award for Academic Excellence
- Radiology Excellence award
Matt uses mostly manual style adjustments, active muscle release techniques and rehabilitation in his management plans.
When not adjusting at Andrew Vincent Chiropractic, Matt also works in private practice in Alderley.
